He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men, yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20
We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 2 Corinthians 5:8-9
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
Brothers and sisters, keep your eyes on God and the future you will have with Him. This life is temporary; but while we're here, we have a goal to glorify God with our lives and to share the hope that He gives us with those who don't know. Let's remember why we are here!
Let us fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18
Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. Revelation 19:7

What I Believe: Part 2
My Response
From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another (John 1:16).
Because of that, and all that He has done for me, I will offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God- this is my spiritual act of worship (Romans 12:1 & 2).
For I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for me to do (Ephesians 2:10).
There is SO much more to be said of my Savior; but basically, though I’m sinful and flawed, still I am loved and welcomed in Christ. My response to this is worship!

What I Believe (Part 1)
Since my goal for this blog is that it would be filled with Christ, I thought it would be appropriate to share with you what I believe:
It started in the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth all in seven days and very good (Genesis 1:1). Then on the sixth day, God said, “Let us make man in our image…” So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them (Genesis 1:26 & 27). Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made (John 1:3).
Then Adam and Eve sinned by eating the forbidden fruit-
therefore, just as sin entered the world by one man, and death through sin, so
death came to all men, because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God (Romans 5:12 & 3:23)...
… And are justified freely by His grace through the
redemption that came by Christ Jesus (Romans
3:24). That’s the good news! God demonstrates His own love for us in
this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Because of
His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it
is by grace you have been saved (Ephesians 2:4 & 5). For He chose us in Him
before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.
In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Christ Jesus, in
accordance with His pleasure and will (Ephesians 1:4 & 5). Therefore, since
we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord
Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in
which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:1
& 2).

Happy Birthday Mom!
Today is my mom's birthday!
I am blessed so much by her every day. She is so caring, selfless, and hardworking. When I'm not feeling well, can't sleep at night, or need someone to talk to, she's always there for me!
You are such a great mother, friend, and role model. Thank you for everything you do! May God bless you every day of your life. :)
Happy birthday, Mom!
